Messy boys

I absolutely LOVE being the mama to my precious boys. They are so carefree and crazy! That doesn't mean things don't get messy.....

These are a few pictures of the boys over the last year..They look so little in some of these! But I wanted to document the hard work of a messy boy. :)

A couple months ago Liam helped me do some baking! He's my little buddy..and he likes my cookies! What more could you ask for!

This was before Sawyer was walking... He likes to follow mama all over the kitchen and drool on her feet.

Liam is at a great age. He is such a goof! He is so much fun and has a crazy imagination. He remembers so many things and copies everything...it can be a bad thing..lol. But most of the time it just gives us a good laugh. :) I don't want to forget some of these things.. and maybe on his wedding day they could come in handy!

-He's been either putting on Tim's shoes or grabbing something that has handles (I guess he thinks its a purse?) and telling me "Bye mom. Going bye-bye ta work. See ya yater." Then he usually will go out the back door and "drive" his trike around for awhile.

-He has been wanting to learn the alphabet lately..so I go over it with him quite often. He's doing great..but EVERY time we get to the "p" (no matter how much I correct him) he says "peanut butter"! Lol! So it goes "lmnopeanutbutterqrstuv". Ha! Don't know where he comes up with this stuff!

-He likes to pretend that he's "Fawing in da water mom..need hep!!" He gets very dramatic with that one. Ha!

-Ever since daddy took him fishing everything that remotely (or not) looks like a fishing pole magically has become one. He pretends the rug in our livingroom is "the water" and will go fishing. He'll reel it in and then say "Mom, look at the big fish! It's a salmon!!" and I'll say.."Wow! How big is it??" and he spreads his arms real wide "That big mom! A lot big!".



It's so exciting to see his little BIG personality grow! Thanks for making me laugh every single day Liam!!!

Pumpkin patch!!

               We got out with the boys in October and took them to the pumpkin patch! It was a perfect day!   

 So beautiful out and we all had a blast!

 I love this man! Not only is he a hottie..he is the best daddy ever!

The boys are at great ages right now. It is so fun to explore new things with them. I need to cherish all these moments because I know how fast they fly by!

Christmas Pictures!

So..I've been thinking about getting our Christmas pictures together soon. I know it's a ways away..but I am one of those people that likes to have plenty of time and to not feel rushed. That being said, last year I had a baby (little Sawyer..so not little anymore..) and two days later we had my sis come over and take pictures of us in our yard..that was on the 22nd of December..heh. But I am very proud that we got them done and handed out to everyone by Christmas day! I really wanted Sawyer to be born before we took them..so that's what we did. I was looking through a few of the shots and can't believe how much our little boys have changed already!

Gotta keep that baby warm! He was only 2 days old...and so cuddly!

Liam went through a hillarious stage of smiling like a rabbit.

Liam loved his little brother right from the start.. always wanting to kiss him and hold him.

 

This baby grew to a little boy this year!

Me..still have a puffy face from labour..but I couldn't be happier with my three boys!

allow me to introduce..

Here are the main characters in my little life...

LIAM GERRIT: Age 2yrs 2ms

This little boy is all boy! He has quite the imagination and NEVER sits still!

His likes: any kind of belt..(he'll strap them and buckle them onto anything!), getting naked and swimming in his kiddie pool, playing in uncle d's room, going fishing with daddy, tractors, boats, airplanes, any kind of animal, singing songs with mommy, reading books, going for walks with the family, going to bed at 8pm, sleeping in until 9am, his little brother.

SAWYER ATHANASIUS: Age 8ms

Sawyer is our little chubster. He weighs 24lbs (Liam weighs 29!) and quickly grows into Liam's old clothes. He's got eight teeth now and would love it if mommy held him ALL day long!

His likes: FOOD..he likes pretty much everything he has tried, watching Liam play, sitting outside on the deck, cuddles with mommy, playing with daddy, car rides, watching the dog, going to bed at 8pm, waking up at 6:30-7am.

This is me of course..

I had to crop a baby's head out of the pic..so it looks a little funny..:)

I am a stay at home mommy and I am so thankful for that! This is a busy time of life for me..but I am starting to realize how fast these years are going to fly by.. and  how precious this time is! I love my job!!

My likes: my amazing hubby, my adorable little boys, spending family time with all three of the men in my life, photography (trying to get better at it), decorating, thrift-shopping, the boys nap time, fashion, orchids, kissing, going for walks, working out (don't have much time for that at the moment though), cuddling on the couch with my man, and organizing things.

Tim: Age 32

Tim recently changed careers. He was working as a police officer for 8 years and has made the big move to becoming a financial adviser! It's a lot of hard work changing careers..but Tim is amazing and we know it will start getting easier soon..(we hope! :) ). Tim is an awesome daddy..Liam idolizes him and LOVES spending as much time as possible with him! He is a pretty amazing husband too! I love him!

His likes: his family and spending as much time as possible with them, gardening, fishing, helping people, building things, designing future projects, being a daddy..he was born for this job!, he is the master of barbecuing, he likes sipping wine or a cold beer at the end of the day, talking with me about building our dream house, and going on dates with me!

We like to be goofy and see who can make the most chins...

...but most of all we love each other and are so thankful for this beautiful life God has blessed us with!!

And that is a little taste of my beautiful family.....
